NORTH PALM BEACH - Candidate for Florida House of Representatives Pat Rooney announced today he has been endorsed
by the Palm Beach County Police Benevolent Association. The PBA represents law enforcement officers throughout Palm Beach County.
"I am honored to be endorsed by the men and women who put their lives on the line every day to keep our community safe,"
said Rooney. "We live in a changed world so now more than ever effective, efficient and responsible enforcement of our laws will help
safeguard public safety."
About Pat Rooney:
A Conservative Republican, successful business leader, restaurant owner and president of the Palm Beach Kennel Club, Pat Rooney served on
the Board of the South Florida Water Management District tasked to set policy to protect the region's environment and safeguard our drinking
water supply and wetland resources. He has served as Board President of Home Safe of Palm Beach County, Board President of the FAU Honors
College, Director of Rosarian Academy, Board Member of the Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches, a current Trustee of Northern Palm Beach
Chamber of Commerce, Trustee of Palms West Chamber of Commerce, Director of the Autism Project of Palm Beach County, Vice-President of
Renaissance Learning Center, Director of Roger Dean Stadium Advisory Board, , Member of the Forum Club of the Palm Beaches and was an
Assistant Coach of the Palm Beach Gardens Gators Mitey Mite football team.
Pat Rooney and his wife Patti have been married for 17 years and have 4 children. He is a graduate Clemson University, holds an MBA from
Lehigh University and earned his Juris Doctor from the Villanova School of Law, and is a member of the American Bar Association, Florida Bar
Association and Palm Beach County Bar Association.
